Spirit Animal Cultural Appropriation. Do with the fact that a lot of people really don’t think they are accountable for saying or committing such acts of cultural appropriation.

By those outside of these cultures, the term is often used sarcastically, or not taken very seriously. However, most people don’t recognize how ingrained in our language it has become. But what about using words like tribe and spirit animal out of context? In that tradition, though there are variations across tribes and cultures, the spirit animal—otherwise known as a “totem animal”—generally takes the form of a single animal with which a person or a clan shares a certain set of characteristics, and therefore a kinship.
