Animals With Opposable Thumbs. The animals that do have opposable thumbs are pretty cool… But are we the only species with this 'distinct' feature?

Our thumbs are attached to a different part of our hand than our other fingers, and the thumb can move separately. Other animals with opposable thumbs include gorillas, chimpanzees, orangutans, and other variants of apes; Opossum, pandas, koala bears, and even some species of frogs have opposable thumbs.

Humans and primates (monkeys, apes and gorillas) have what are called “opposable thumbs” which makes doing certain tasks much easier.

I wish humans had both of those traits! But the fact is that dolphins and whales still have bigger brains regardless. Do chimps have opposing thumbs? Raccoons do not have opposable.
